 Hello, New to Stepping Stones
Hi Everyone! This is my first post here on Stepping Stones. I am 34 yrs old and am married to my hubby of 8 yrs. Our fertility journey began about 4 yrs ago. I first worked with my OBGYN and found out that I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which is the root cause of my infertility. My OB put me on Metformin for a couple months then had me try clomid for about 5 cycles. Unfortunately I did not respond to Clomid so I tooks some time off and decided to find a Reproductive Endo in the Greater Denver Area. I found a wonderful Dr. and during the first month of tests, I found that I had a blocked tube and a Uterine Septum! What?!? I was not expecting any of this, so needless to say, this put me back and additional couple months because I needed to undergo a laproscopy and hysteroscopy to remove the septum and clear the tube. We went back to clomid for one cycle and she could cleary see this would not work, so next steps were to include injectables. Before I could start the injectable cycle I needed to have my insurance company review the treatment to make sure the Repronex would be covered. On my first injectable cycle I had one mature follie so we did trigger and went on for IUI. No success. The next cycle was scratched because I was not responding at all. So here I am, cycle three and Praying this works. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband on this journey. He is so kind and supportive. When I have those pity party days, he encourages me and most of all I am so blessed in knowing that God will not give me more than I can handle. I can't wait to meet you all and share in our journeys!

Re: Hello, New to Stepping Stones
I am so happy you followed God's lead to Stepping Stones! This is a great group of women all here to support you (especially during your pity parties). So sorry you are facing IF and have a reason to be here, but I look forward to sharing our journey together.
