 pills in pudding?
One of the things that I am taking right now is 6 small pills a day of folic acid. In the grand scheme of things it really isn't much, but for some reason I gag every time that I take them. I do fine with the larger pills but these small one, bleh!!! I was taking them 2 at a time, 3 times a day. The nurse offered me an RX for 2 pill with the same mg as the 6 pills, but I already bought the ones that I have and would rather just take them. So I have taken to crushing them up and stirring them into pudding. So is this ingenious or ineffective?? I hope that this is an acceptable way to take them. I would ask the nurse but I feel like a baby and would rather not.

 Re: pills in pudding?
I would call your pharmacist and ask. Some pills you are not allowed to crush.
Definitely call.

 Re: pills in pudding?
Not sure about pills in pudding. I would think it'd be okay since it's a vitamin, and not actual medication. I remember my mom doing taht when we were little w/ any kind of pill we had to take..she'd put them in applesauce, etc...

Folic acid is fine to crush, and fine to mix with pudding. I do it at work for ppl all the time.
